Sustainable Development Leadership

The Chief Executive takes leadership of health, safety and environment ("HSE") issues at Board level with direct lines of reporting from the operational facilities. This includes formal monthly reports on HSE performance and rapid notification of HSE incidents wherever they occur throughout the world. A manufacturing council, comprising senior manufacturing and HSE managers, reviews performance monthly, sets standards and initiates improvements. The Board of Elementis reviews HSE performance at its meetings.
