CHLOROHYDROL 50 is a 50% aqueous solution of standard Aluminum Chlorohydrate. The formulation will provide a level of performance that meets the minimum FDA criterion for sweat reduction.
Procedure
Procedure:
- Mix first three ingredients into a suitable container and measure the refractive index.
- In a separate container mix the last four ingredients and measure the refractive index.
- Adjust the refractive index of the second mixture to match the first by adding Propylene Glycol to increase refractive index or by adding water to lower it.
- When matched, slowly add the second mixture to the first using moderate shear until the emulsion reaches the desired viscosity.
- Emulsion particles may begin to settle after two weeks on the shelf, but simple shaking will return uniformity of the product.
