Everyone deserves a workplace built on dignity, trust and respect. At Elementis, harassment and bullying have no place – on site, on the road or online. We act early, listen carefully, and protect anyone who speaks up. This commitment reflects our Values of Safety, Solutions, Ambition, Respect and Team and
supports our Code of Conduct.
Our Commitment
- Zero tolerance: We will address concerns promptly, fairly and consistently, wherever they occur and whoever is involved. Retaliation is not tolerated.
- Clear standard: Unwelcome verbal, physical, visual or digital conduct that creates a hostile or degrading environment is not acceptable, including online.
- Global and inclusive: This standard applies to all employees, contractors, interns, volunteers and third parties, in every region and work setting. Where local law offers stronger protection, that higher bar applies.
- Aligned with our Code: We treat one another with fairness, dignity and respect and investigate concerns confidentially and sensitively.
What We Mean by Harassment & Bullying
Harassment is any unwelcome conduct, spoken, physical, visual or digital, that makes someone feel intimidated, humiliated or offended (whether or not it relates to a protected characteristic). Bullying is persistent or serious behaviour that demeans or isolates a person, including via digital channels.
Examples include: derogatory remarks or jokes, unwanted touching or intimidation, sharing offensive images or messages, unwelcome sexual advances, or online harassment in emails, chat or meetings.
