RHEOLATE^® 658 IF

RHEOLATE^® 658 IF is 17.5% active solids, nonionic synthetic associative thickener designed for improving the rheology of interior and exterior deco paints. Paints formulated with RHEOLATE^® 658 IF have a good balance of sag resistance and leveling and is suitable for use from flats through gloss paints. 

The thickener is an urethane associative rheology modifiers and exhibits excellent compatibility with other RHEOLATE^® thickeners. RHEOLATE^® 658 IF can be used together with more Newtonian high-shear thickeners such as RHEOLATE^® HX 6025 or HX 6010 to customize the rheology profile of the coating. 

RHEOLATE^® 658 IF is environmentally friendly and contains no APEOs, VOCs, or tin and is Isothiazoline (MIT/BIT) free. While designed for use in water-based decorative paints the product can also be used in other water-based systems including inks, textile coatings, adhesives and sealants. The product has a low viscosity and is a pourable and pumpable liquid.
