Luc has a proven track record of delivering innovation, growth, and efficiency during his 14 years at Elementis. He led the Company's largest business segment, Performance Specialties (comprising Global Coatings, Energy and Talc), for seven years. Prior to this, he led the Global Coatings business through its transformation programme and drove the execution of its growth strategies.

Luc started his career with Elementis leading the Personal Care and Surfactants businesses following leadership positions at specialty chemicals company Croda.

Luc has an MSc degree in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering and a Professional Doctorate in Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology.

Kath was appointed CFO-Designate on 3 November 2025 and became the Elementis Group CFO on 1 January 2026.

Kath is an accomplished CFO who has over 20 years’ of experience in a range of CFO and senior finance roles in the UK and US with Learning Technologies Group plc, SIG plc, Vitec plc, Rexam plc, and BOC Group plc. 

Kath has a strong track record of leading finance functions at international public companies and a wealth of expertise across industries, which is highly valuable to the delivery of our Elevate Elementis strategy. 

Kath is a Chartered Management Accountant with a degree in Business and Management Studies, and an MBA from the Manchester Business School.

Stijn was appointed Chief Commercial Officer in May 2025 and leads the Personal Care and Performance Specialties businesses.

Stijn grew into a key and widely respected leader of the company during his time at Elementis. He builds high-performing cross-functional teams and always demonstrated the right balance of strategic, operational and customer focus. He led the Personal Care business from 2020 to 2025 and set the strategy that enabled the accelerated growth in this segment.

Prior to that, he held leadership positions in Personal Care, Coatings and Pharma at Elementis, having previously held senior commercial roles at Capsugel (now Lonza) and Barentz.

Stijn holds Master degrees in Bio-Engineering from Ghent University and Agro-Management from Montpellier SupAgro and is a graduate of the Executive Development Program from the Wharton School.

Colin was appointed Chief Manufacturing and Procurement Officer on 7 April 2026 and is responsible for Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE), and our capital investment program. 

Colin brings over 30 years of experience in chemical manufacturing, having started his career as a graduate trainee at British Aerospace. During his early career, he managed various high-hazard processes related to the production of energetic materials for military applications – an experience that shaped his strong focus on process safety and HSE management. 

Since joining Elementis, Colin has held various leadership roles at site, regional and global levels covering manufacturing and continuous improvement. This has given him an extensive experience in our manufacturing processes and capabilities, enabling him to improve operational efficiency across the business. 

Colin holds a BEng in Chemical and Process Engineering from the University of Strathclyde.  

Michela was appointed Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer on 7 April 2026 and is responsible for Strategy Development, R&D, New Market Development, Sustainability and Product Stewardship. 

Michela is an accomplished international business leader with over 20 years of experience in strategic marketing, innovation and sustainability across the chemicals and industrial technology sectors. She rejoined Elementis following her role as Chief Marketing Officer at Bodycote. Previously, Michela served as Marketing Director, Performance Specialties (now Coatings), at Elementis from 2021 to 2024, and held senior leadership positions at allnex and AkzoNobel. 

Michela has a strong track record of driving growth through customer-centric innovation and sustainability, and of leading complex change and building high-performing teams. 

Michela holds a degree in Industrial Chemistry and a PhD in Polymer Chemistry from the University of Naples, and an Executive MBA from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. 

Hannah was appointed Chief Legal and People Officer on 1 June 2026 and is responsible for Legal, Compliance, Company Secretariat, People and Communications. She joined Elementis in July 2025 as Group General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer and Company Secretary. 

Hannah is an experienced lawyer with a strong track record of delivering pragmatic legal and strategic counsel across a broad range of sectors – from technology and defence to retail and leisure. Before joining Elementis, Hannah held a number of senior roles at Smiths Group Plc, a FTSE 100 listed industrial engineering company, including a period living and working in Singapore with responsibility for the Asia Pacific region, and most recently serving as General Counsel for Corporate & M&A. 

Hannah holds an MA Cantab in Modern and Medieval Languages from the University of Cambridge, and the Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course qualifications from BPP Law School.
