BENAQUA® 6000
Rheological Additive for Construction Products
BENAQUA® 6000 is a hectorite clay based rheological additive. BENAQUA® 6000 is an easily dispersible powder designed for tile adhesive, stucco, cement-based plasters and other cementitious systems. It is especially useful in dry/cementitious systems where water is added prior to use.
BENAQUA® 6000 provides high viscosity in the low- to medium-shear-rate region. It gives superior sag resistance at low package viscosity compared with conventional thickeners. The unique hectorite clay improves shear-thinning rheology in formulated products. BENAQUA® 6000 improves workability and open time in mortars. This leads to improved adhesion which allows for the potential reduction in binder level.
