Poppy Seed Exfoliating Balm
Cleanse and gently exfoliate the skin with this fluffy cloud like balm.
Advantages
BENTONE HYDROCLAY™ 2100 suspends the poppy seeds and creates this fluffy cloud like texture.
Procedure
- Heat Phase A to 75°C.
- Combine Phase B and mix until smooth.
- Add Phase B to Phase A using a Silverson homogenizer and mix for 15 minutes.
- Heat Phase C to 75°C and mix until uniform.
- Transfer to a propeller mixer and add Phase C.
- Cool to below 35°C and add Phase D with stirring.
- Add Phase E and mix until uniform.
- Adjust pH to 5.5—6.5 using a 10% citric acid solution in water with stirring.
